3. Cookies

Habla Horizon does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. We use a session cookie to keep you logged in if you have an admin account. No analytics cookies (Google Analytics etc.) are currently used.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Google Fonts — loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log the request. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Stripe — payment processing for shop purchases. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. See Stripe's privacy policy.
  • HostGator — our web hosting provider. Your data is stored on servers in the US. HostGator is GDPR-compliant.

5. Data Retention

  • Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Contact form data is retained for 12 months then deleted.
  • Page view logs are retained for 6 months.

6. Your Rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe from newsletter at any time)

We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. Admin access is password-protected. We apply reasonable security measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

8. Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
